Arami is a beauty brand that strives to make an impact in the beauty and wellness sector in Africa. Launching a new line of products, Arami required our services in art direction and photography to emphasize the uniqueness of their new product line while remaining in line with their brand tone and aesthetic.
Our approach to this was to embrace minimalism as a vehicle for emphasis, to ensure the product itself was the star of the campaign. In executing the brief we thought about what element we could infuse that would mirror the conditions the product would be used in, without taking away from it as the focus.
It clicked that water being a universal element and first step in all forms of skin care would be a perfect vehicle for this. From spritz to ripples we were able to use water to create a feel of the products in use while keeping the products as the focus. In addition to this we explored pastel backgrounds with the product in focus
