NOMBA (formerly known as KUDI) is one of the leading fintech companies in Nigeria’s blossoming tech space. The company is focused on creating tools for businesses to manage sales, money and payments, without hurdles. NOMBA had the singular goal of making financial services accessible to everyone. They sought to break the walls blocking access to payment services and build systems of financial inclusion for NSME’s in the country.
The Challenge
Under its former name “KUDI” the brand had the challenge of constantly having its gains attributed to another popular fintech company (Kuda) because of the similarity of the brand names. It needed to stand out for its exceptional solution therefore a rebrand was necessary.
In the rebranding to its new name “NOMBA”, we played a prominent role from scripting and storytelling to shooting visuals. These visuals helped play a major role in repositioning the brand under its new name as a unique brand and one of the top players in the fintech space. Our reasoning was to draw attention to the wide array of situations the brand services.
